Overview
All Overhead Door® garage door openers are available to order with a battery at the time of purchase and most have options to add them on later as well. The Battery Backup accessory offers homeowners the security of always being prepared when severe weather hits, even in case of a power outage. It’s an accessory that can be easily installed and provides true peace of mind. When the power is out, the Battery Backup will do the heavy lifting.

- Add a battery backup accessory at any time (now or later!) to any of our powerful 140v trolley openers, to any of our 2-light, 24v trolley openers or any of our state-of-the-art, 24v Wall Mount openers.
- A battery backup accessory is available for our 1-light 24v trolley opener line and must be ordered at the time of purchase (cannot be added later).
- Any of the BBU options will operates door at 3.5 inches per second
- LEDs indicate charge status
- Recharges within 48 hours
